About Dawid

Leadership without management becomes performative. Management without leadership undermines culture.

For most of my career I watched talented, well-meaning people burn out chasing more — more options, more output, more noise. I became obsessed with a quieter question: what does it take to think clearly and move steadily over a whole career, and how do you embed organisational flow?

These days Zeus — my loyal and trusted Rottweiler and co-author — and I spend our days researching, writing and planning how to help those who reach out to me. Occasionally, I am invited to share my thoughts with new colleagues on distant stages, where we laugh and learn together.

The throughline is always the same: better decisions, gentler momentum, and work that stays worth doing.

What I keep coming back to

Clarity over cleverness

The goal is never to sound smart. It is to help you see your situation clearly and act with confidence.

Small and steady wins

Lasting change rarely comes from a dramatic overhaul. It comes from momentum you can actually keep.

Work that stays human

Ambition and wellbeing are not opposites. The best work happens when we protect both.

After 15 years working with BHP, Anglo American and Goldcorp to build their global leadership programs, targeted operational and safety training and management improvement programs, I joined Thiess as Group Manager, Global Operations — developing and writing their global management operating system (MO@T) across the group — and led the reset of the Gruyere gold operation as Project Director.

    Full-time author & consultant

Stepped out to write, speak and consult full-time, founding The Decision Architecture Group to help organisations build systems that make good decisions inevitable.
